Taught graduate students and postdoctoral researchers writing skills, and advised them on written work, including applications for doctoral programs, manuscripts, and dissertations.
Developed educational content for graduate students, including tutorials on best practices in academic writing, fellowship writing, English grammar, and figure making.
Spearheaded the extension of writing consultations to students in the School of Public Health and Physician Assistants program, and acted as the sole advisor to these cohorts.
Led peer review groups on fellowship writing in the natural sciences.
Coordinated with Yale’s communications team to upgrade the Graduate Writing Lab website.
Performed weekly website content updates and produced additional written content to increase accessibility.

Co-taught a three-week lab module on epistasis as part of the “Genetics Lab” course.
Coordinated with course instructor and colleagues to effectively deliver lessons and develop teaching materials, including syllabus, assignments, lab protocols, and lesson presentations.

Taught students the scientific method, guided students as they wrote research papers on their findings, and encouraged their interest in pursuing a STEM career.
Provided one-on-one mentoring to two middle students from an under-served school system as they developed independent projects for the annual New Haven Science Fair.
